Short Statement of Profession of Faith

Bridge Builder Academy is not expressly a "Christian school" by purpose statement, legal classification, or charter. We do not use or recommend any particular religious curriculum except by request of the parent, and do not promote any religious agenda during our sessions except by special circumstances of parental request.

BBA is a school established for students who learn best within the one-on-one environment and wish to receive instruction from state certified professional educators in that environment. BBA hires our teachers based on their academic certification and experience alone, and likewise admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the school. We do not discriminate in any way on the basis of race, color, national, ethnic origin, or religion in administration of our educational policies, admission policies, potential scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other school administered programs.

HOWEVER, it is also the desire of the head administration / partners (co-owners) of the school to express that BBA is a school owned by three Christian partners, and as such wish to announce our own personal profession of faith as follows:

 1. We believe the Bible is the inspired and complete Word of God.

 2. We believe Jesus the Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, lived the only perfect life and is God incarnate, sent so that believers can experience the joy of everlasting life with God in paradise.

 3. We believe that Christ died for our sins according to the prophecy of Scriptures, the perfect sacrifice to atone for all sin, for all time, available to any who will believe.

 4. We believe that He arose from the grave the third day according to the scriptures, and that he walked among the living, teaching and preaching until ascending to prepare a place for believers in heaven.

 5. We believe that Christ, only, is the great High Priest, and we do not need intercession through any other.

 6. We believe that Christ will come again some day in Person: bodily, visibly, to establish His Kingdom on the earth.

 7. We believe that in order to be saved, the soul must be born again through confession of sin and acceptance of the gift of salvation through Christ and by God’s Grace who then imparts the Holy Spirit upon believers.

 8. We believe that every truly born again soul should declare his faith by the act of public baptism as a symbol of the Lord's death, burial, and resurrection, and the transformation of one’s soul and one’s personal relationship with Him.

 9. We believe that the church is a body of baptized believers who’s mission is to evangelize the lost and disciple the saved so that all may hear the good news of Christ.

If you desire more information about these widely held beliefs which we openly profess, we would encourage you to speak to your local church or to one of us in person.
