HOMEWORK SUPPORT Students
1 or more hours a week. No curriculum.
The Homework Support Program is very similar to our Supplemental Education Program, but is intended for students who attend school elsewhere and need help with the work they are currently studying at school.
BBA teachers will not do a student’s homework for them, but instead partner with school teachers to help with reinforcing and reteaching the concept being studied by providing regular additional one-on-one guided practice that they often can not receive at school. We often work with the school teacher and are happy to follow their lead.
The typical Homework Support student’s sessions will begin shortly after school when the BBA teacher arrives at the student’s home, a partner school, or other location (such as the BBA office) with no planned lesson, ready to support the student’s lessons and homework for the day.
So why add more work when the homework they already have is already causing them so much stress? For as little as an hour a week, we will send a certified teacher to assist with their actual homework, answering related questions and providing enrichment and curriculum reinforcement only when necessary!
No lesson plans or curriculum support are required for Homework Support, but we provide a detailed "checklist" write-up of every session using our secure online software!
Educational consultation for Partner Schools and Homeschool Programs is provided as a part of our Homework Support Program. Contact us for more information about how YOUR school or Homeschool Network can become a BBA partner school!
